Slammed car trunk on tip of ugly stik elite

So as the title says I slammed my car trunk on the clear tip of my ugly stik elite. Every seems to be perfectly fine on the rod im just wondering if anyone else has done this? do i need to worry about my rod breaking easier now.

Any ugly stik is tough as nails man. I cant even tell you how many times my rods been stepped on or uncomfortably bent and is still goin strong you should be fine.

I bought my first GX2 because someone said they had slammed theirs in the door of their truck and it was fine. You're probably good. Best not to think about it until it breaks, if it breaks.

Hmmm I did mine with the tailgate from my truck. Did replace the guide on the tip.

I did exactly the same thing when I slammed my Ugly stick in my tailgate, broke off about three inches. Just added a new tip on what was left and good to go. Ugly sticks seem to last forever.
