Jar....you're doing OK, I'm good for thee times most nights, but I get right back to sleep IF I'm sleeping that evening. The good news, for me, is I'm dreaming again within minutes, right back to REM sleep. Found that out when an event happened a couple of times just after the sleeping resumed. I worked Midnight to 8 for the final 12 or so years before retirement, and my biorhythms got so screwed up they can't be fixed without long months of 2 meds, a stimulant and a relaxation drug.Dr. sez it would be a good idea, but that's not for me ( anymore ). Don't wanna mess with that stuff, did that 50 years ago & it wasn't pretty.

I know what you mean brother , many jobs we worked were 12 on 12 off ,and half of those 6pm to 6am, it really messes with your body, and I know about pain meds ,no more for me either, just my diet beer, bud light once in awhile👍👍

I never get the urge to pee any more. A urostomy bag and over night bag handle it for me.I’ve had that system for over 8 years. I’m still above ground though. Good old Agent Orange.

Yup. Nasty stuff. Lost one BIL to it. Spent two tours in Nsm with Green Berets. The other is still breathing but has lots of problems compliments of Nam.

Thank you for your service. I was just young enough I didn’t go. They stopped the draft while I was still in high school. I had a supervisor at work in the early eighties that was in the Marines who spent time there. He told me one day that everyone he served with over there was either dead or crazy. What a sad deal. Again, thank you and all on here that have served. I appreciate the freedom I enjoy because so many have served this country.

Thanks for the recognition. I’m glad I made it home, but part of me will always be there.
