I have had a lot of luck in the past on the tail race in Riverdale ND. You have to be fit enough to climb some rocks. The fish like hiding in them along the edge. I used minnows and worms. We have caught bass and Pike. However, there are a variety of fish you can see easily. People with boats also work the area a lot.
Where do you like to fish and what kind of fish?
This spring I caught a bunch of Pike with my friend on Lake Isabelle. The biggest was 5.8oz. There are walleye in there as well. They were really feisty so you had to wear them out before you bring them. They were jumping up out of the water as we were reeling them in.
