Hello fellow fishermen and fisherwomen. Pictured is my fishing partner Banditt. This boy loves to go fishing. He is pretty smart and knows that when I set the hook that I am getting bit. He just sits on alert the whole time waiting for a fish to bite. He loves to jump in after the fish I am fighting to help me bring it to shore. I have been fresh water fishing my whole life since about age 10 mainly in the area around Lake elsinore, ca.

Great to see that you have a fishing buddy of the best kind.
Just a little welcome story about one of my old fishing buddies. Many years ago, I was camping with lots of family at Rufgio Beach, just above Santa Barbara. One morning I was out fishing for surf perch with my golden retriever, Jasper. I'm surrounded by nieces and nephews when Jasper runs into the water and comes back with a fish in his mouth. With the innocence of youth one of the young nephews comes up to me and says Uncle Tim how come Jasper can catch fish and you can't.
