I've never seen one in person (in bird?). Literally every color on the visible spectrum is represented! ROYGBIV

Absolutely beautiful, we’ve got indigo buntings and while quite stunning they’re nothing like a painted.

Well you see there was this big bang from an asteroid that created this primordial soup and all these creatures started crawling out of it in breeding pairs that eventually morphed into the bird in the pic. What's so hard to believe about that?? LMAO

Beautiful 🐦 but I've never seen one. Where are they native to?

"The breeding range is divided into two geographically separate areas. These include southern Arizona, southern New Mexico, southern and eastern Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, northern Florida, coastal Georgia, the southern coast and inland waterways such as the Santee River of South Carolina and northern Mexico. They winter in South Florida, Cuba, the Bahamas, along both coasts of Mexico and through much of Central America." - Wikipedia

I have never seen one and I have been all along the Gulf Coast, from FL to So. TX. but only in the Winter time, so, that may be why.
