I’m the only person fishing in a reservoir and only catch and release is it possible that the fish don’t bite as often because I’m fishing everyday? If I take a week break from that spot do you think the fish will start biting more?

I don't know. I have caught the same bass in the same pond every day for a week.

Its possible. Are you using the same thing every day? Try changing lures and see what that does.
I've heard of overfishing a lake due to heavy pressure from a bunch of people. But unless you have a glorified pond that's real small it shouldn't be a problem if its just you.
Its more likely that we are getting into summer and its been super hot. Try fishing either early morning or much later in the evening to see if that makes a difference.

It does matter I was tagging for the Fl FWC catching the fish with rod and reels to tag. We tagged one that we caught 3 more times without moving the boat so being caught really has no effect on them. We have done that on a lot of days. It made me wonder when we are practicing catch and release how many times do we think we are on a lot of fish but we are catching a few fish over and over
