Today was a beautiful day to get some work done around the cabin. But, because the wind wasn't howling like yesterday, it was also a nice day to fish. So, fished for an hour in the morning, 2 hours in the afternoon, and an hour in the evening. The morning bite was slow, 1 yellow perch, boated 5 LM in the afternoon, and 2 in the evening. So overall, a nice day. Go Sox!

Nice pair of bass you got there Fireguy; congratulations! In addition to the wind dying down, did the air temp drop up there as well? Just curious if that affected the water temp to the point there was a noticeable change in your catch rate. (btw, like your passive aggressive t-shirt!)

Yes DC, the temps, and the humidity have dropped significantly. But, the water level is still low which has affected the fishing this year. Also, I fished in an entirely different spot tonight, our ice fishing area. Picked up 2, 2 lbrs deep. Will be playing in that area again.

The bass is nice, but having a cabin on the lake is really nice. Lucky Man! Is that your house in background?

Nice fireguy, beautiful pics and like Fred said that work is not going anywhere, it’ll be there. Gotta take advantage of the perfect fishing days
