Hello I'm new to the Coos bay area. I'm really looking forward to getting my boat out on the water. There is a lot to learn about fishing here, being next to the ocean is totally new to me. Hope to see you out on the water soon.

Welcome to the Stage Rodrreh ! Go to " The Bites On Bait & Tackle" it's on Newmark ave going toward Empire / Charleston ,, they are excellent fishermen and great info for the area, buy yourself some used crab pots and get ready to have fun, go to the pier in Empire you'll catch Dungeness& Red Rock Crabs, you'll immediately see where the boats are headed for rockfish by the Charleston Jetty, when Kings & Coho are running they are catchable in the bay and by the Coos Bay bridge , my Mom use to live there but they moved to Lakeside, my little brother now live there, Good Luck and Tightlines🤙🤙Eat lots of Oysters !
