I have a family friend who is an instructor for free children’s fishing clinics through the FWC that I’ve been volunteering with just because it’s honestly a good time. The man is so appreciative that I’m helping him that he keeps giving me old fishing rods/lures he doesn’t really use anymore as “payment.” Today he forced me to take a $20 bill for gas, and I personally draw the line at cash. I would love to take this money and get him an “expensive” lure with the money he gave me. He’s amazed by real/unique looking baits so I’ve narrowed it down to the savage gear shine glide and the savage gear snake. Which do you think I should get him? I’m so torn and I’m tired of staring at both of them. Thanks!!

I think that’s what I’m going to get! Liked the other guys idea, but it’s not quite as neat to me as the snake. And yeah, some of the kids it’s their first fish and some probably the only time they’ll ever fish. It’s an absolute blast. If you’re a Florida resident I would recommend supporting Fish Florida. They’re the ones who give the grants that allow him to do what he does. If not, find something similar for your state!
