almost sorry my grand kids are getting older youngest is 13 but still love seeing them catch fish although it is now more competitive

Just love that picture fish in his hand instead of a phone. Way to go Grandpa.Picture brings a smile to my face more than a 4-5 lb bass .

Having that kind of relationship pays off diwn the road. When they hit that age where parents don't know anything it's nice for them to have someone they still listen to.

Yessir it is. Both of my granddads were fishermen and I loved fishing and learning from both. One lived in Houston near me and the other lived in Springfield, Mo. The one here liked saltwater and the other fished freshwater. I miss them a lot, even today. We were buds like you and your grandson. Thanks for sharing your trip and pictures.

Bruce, Did you show him how to avoid the pectoral and dorsal fin barbs, or did he learn the hard way ? He's got his hand nicely positioned on those cats.

Took my grandson fishing since he was 5. At 12 he outfishes me. Local guide Took him and he outfished him.
