Tried to get us about 2 years ago and I reported on here. Glad you didn't fall for it. The bad person contacted my wife faking that she was someone my wife knew and said her credit card was messed up and would my wife buy a birthday present for a mutual friend, whose birthday was the next day by sending her an Amazon gift card of $50. I told my wife NO and when my wife later checked with the real two people, they said they didn't know anything about it and it wasn't one's birthday. beware they are working hard to steal your hard earned money!
