What boat were you on , I use to fish out of San Diego. Glad you got in to them I've had a trip like that 15yrs ago. !! How was the ocean?
Have a great week.
We were on a 2 day on the Islander. Kind of a weird trip. We lost seven hours of fishing on the first day due to a medical emergency. The cook broke a couple ribs and we motored back to San Diego dropped him off and motored back out. Found the magic kelp the following morning and loaded the boat!
