Has anybody made it to Lake Wenatchee for the 4 sockeye limit yet? Just waundering if it is worth the drive and if the fish are still about 2 to 3 lbs apiece
sorry I don't have any new information for you but I have been camping there a couple years when it is open for sockeye and the boats stretch down the road way before sunrise single boat ramp with not that much parking.. I could never figure why it would be worth all the trouble but it is a pretty lake very clear water.
have you fished this lake in the past? if so how long did it take you to get your boat in and then out of the water? and is all the Fishing being done at the far end of the lake? I saw a lot of boats take off but didn't see where they all went but it seemed like they were all headed to the far side where the river comes in. good luck hope the wind cooperates
Thanks. I have not been to the lake in a very long time. Use to catch decent sockeye out of their and sinse limit is back to 4 was just waundering if the sockeye are still smaller than they use to be.
