Good morning, Gordon. It does look very inviting, depending on what the shoreline was like. Thank you for sharing, and have a good day.

This is my photo of the day. To see it in person was great. Walked out on the pier this morning nothing really hitting. The guy in the photo hung a huge red drum but it went under the pier and popped the line

OC Maryland in the morning on the board walk with a funnel cake in one hand, and your honey in the other looking forward to Thrashers French fries for lunch.

Yea Buddy now you are talking.

Now THAT'S what I'm talking about! Malt vinegar only, no ketchup!

That's really gorgeous, Gordon! Brought back a fond memory of a family BBQ at the shore in the late 60s, don't remember where, but dad was so overcome with the view of the setting sun that he broke out and started singing JLL's "Great Balls of Fire" (he sometimes moonlighted weekends as a pianist with his buddies in a jazz band)

Yeah PB, back in the day, just out of the fryer thrashers paired with an ice cold natty boh and you've got yourself a meal! Ah I miss those OC days!

And Chuck Thompson would say: " Aint the beer cold "

I miss them too DC. Nags Head is nice and all, but no comparison to OC.

That it does. I used to go to the games there on 33rd street back in the day when bleacher seats were 50 - 75 cents.

Then work my way to behind the plate until they put up a chain fence between the bleachers and the general admission.

That's when i had to spend over $ 2 bucks just to get there. That was a lot of 2 cent soda bottles in those days.

It sure was Hunt. I wonder if our kids when they hit 70 and 80 will say those were simpler times as we say it about that time in our lives.
