Went out earlier tonight and landed a dozen fish in a little over an hour. The wind died down after a while, and the surface revealed a lot of activity in the shallows. Something was chasing pods of small yellow perch. So I played around chasing the little buggers. Missed some nice bass, but had fun catching some small ones. The bass on an 1/8 oz jig, the perch on 3.5" swim bait.

A lot fun, just catching little guys. Can always spend time hunting the lunkers, and not catching.
