Just talking about Pa fishing

I live in Northampton county and the fishing here as far as I am able to discover is very limited.most lake have very little shore fishing and are at least an hour from me.even going north .the closest I have found is in NJ about 1/2 hour away and again limited shore fishing .I would like to find something that is nearer to me but have had very little luck so if anyone knows of places please advise .tight lines people

There’s some township ponds close to you that have decent fishing. One on Kromer road, Albert road, and Beil road all within 6 miles of each other.

Not sure what your target fish is,but Minsi is only 10 minutes from you. Plenty of shore fishing there but its pretty much a trout lake

Miley that sounds like the part of Franklin co I'm from. Closest lake is n hr away n no community ponds really worth fishing. Good luck👍

Try the Delaware Canal in Yardley. You can walk along the canal path and fish the whole length of the canal. The water level is very low right now, so head south on River Road from Yardley and park on E. Ferry Road. Walk south toward the Calhoun Street Bridge. I catch Large Mouth Bass and Pickerel. There are also a ton of large carp, if that's what you'd prefer. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply I have been to both unfortunately the weeds are heavy there now .I do still fish but it can be trying
