I received this opportunity from the WI DNR yesterday.
Unfortunately, I don’t qualify as I am neither Chinese, Filipino, Hmong nor Karen???
I sent them an email asking if the 4th option should have been Korean(?)
Karen is actually a language, not something one can identify as, but recently it seems to mean a high maintenance, whiny, white, urban female… I don’t identify as one of those, either 😂
I got no response…nor the $50 🤦🏼‍♂️

Very hard to believe they dish out $ 50 for every response. Some Karen will most likely chime in.

Sure looks like one, but it was part of an email from the DNR.
I wonder if it is part of a sting operation to catch those who are poaching fish, or fish without a license?

I got one from PayPal that looked so real I had to call them to verify...it was a scam. You could call to verify.

PayPal and Amazon have a nearly perfect scammer out there somewhere with the site they send to verify a purchase. Verizon had one there for awhile also.

Wouldn't surprise me with a fake DNR site. But i do like OJ's thought. It might be a way to get the illegal licenses holders caught.

Karens are one of the persecuted tribes in Burma, now Myanmar. There’s a significant population in Minnesota. So the survey makes sense to me asking other SE Asia people groups. Whether it’s a scam or not, I can’t say, but my gut says legit. But your question about whether they meant Korean certainly is logical.
