Got a P.M yesterday from a fellow stager asking me if was fishing Saturday, that’s a given! Weekend I’m fishing!! So he said he was booked for the weekend and couldn’t make out fishing with farmer Tom, farmer Tom was in the area camping and was looking to do some fishing at Sonoma lake, so he ask me to see if Ryan and my self could show Tom the lake and try to put Tom on some fish, so after a few P.Ms on the stage we arranged to meet Tom at Sonoma lake this morning. Was nice to meet a follow stager! It was a pleasure to fish with Tom super nice guy! Ryan and my self shared are set ups with Tom we really wanted to get him on some fish. It was a tuff day the bite was minimal, I hike around and managed 2 Bass 1 small mouth and 1 large mouth. The best part of the day was meeting Tom! Good luck and be safe!!

I know you guys tried!!! It's not easy being a bass pro!! LOL but it takes practice to work those spots you and Ryan have down pat!!!

Glad that you did catch a few...and especially cool that you were able to meet a fellow fisherman from this Forum. Being able to meet in person has been fun to see threaded along the pages of numerous recent contacts that folks have made!

Glad you guys had fun with Tom. Every day is different and at least he saw that your techniques and bait choices worked, even on a slow day. All in all a good day Matt, and thanks for the pictures.

Thanks fishyaker! I’ve been able to meet a half dozen or so fellow stagers and I got to say I haven’t meet one yet that hasn’t been a pleasure to meet! The stage has been and is blessing for me!! Good luck and be safe!!

Thanks Fred! Yea I hope he can use them in the future to improve his catching! I could tell Tom has the skills and is a experienced fisherman!

Thanks to you and Rhyno for getting together with Tom and tryin to put him on some fish.
Please let me know how you and Ryan do today out there.
Ben and I will be goin back to the Napa o tomorrow to check the fishin there.
Looks like we'll end up takin OBG to the Napa and try our best to put him on at least a couple of Stripers.
Thanks again for the last minute change of plans you and Rhyno had and getting together with Tom.

I have met Tom and really enjoyed meeting and fishing with him even though we were in separate boats at the lake we meet at.
He lives close by me and we'll go again.
Still want to take you and Ryno out in my boat .
