I went back to North Fork with a friend this week rather than my wife. This time with opposite results, he caught his limit and I couldn't get one in the boat. I have no pics of fish getting off just before the net. sorry.

I can relate Mel. Last week got them to the yak and for some reason one or two shakes and they released themselves.

But do you know what? Still counted as a catch in my book and a fun day fishing was had.

I know, it's inexplicable how one rod can do all the catching and the other come away empty but it happens. It just means you need to go more often to increase the odds that you'll be holding the hot rod.
