I received an Email about that yesterday, it was frightening, and I have no idea of what they can do about it. Are your lights still on, DC?

Flyguy - I'm in the East coast so doesn't affect me directly, but I do have extended family, friends, and colleagues in the West coast that are or will be affected. I'm also attending in-person meetings in Vegas in the fall so now we're all wondering how that's going to pan out.

Sorry, I was thinking that you were in Nevada. Keep me posted on the happens if I don't see anything. But, I'm going to follow this because it could be devastating, to say the least.

Wow, interesting video, maybe I need to get moving on battery backup for my solar, we put in a large system that generates more power than we use in the summer.

Thanks for sharing that.

I understand the water level has been steadily dropping 7' per month and this is year 22 of this current drought. I had no idea!

As of yesterday, the AVERAGE inflow of water in Powell is approx 6000 cfs less than the outflow for the last 14 days.
( More WATER going out than coming in).

Bob, that's really scary. Electricity can be rerouted from the grid but after the surface and groundwater sources are gone how will you get your freshwater? Wonder what kind of contingency plans Phoenix has and if they're even viable.
