I’d bet they’re gonna shoot back with the weapons they have just like those. 🤷‍♂️

It is rather annoying Maid Marion when people that will never be using them for hunting ( unless criminals ) purpose is for mass casualty. I would support shooting sport competition but majority of these types of weapons are never used for good things. Marion to be honest Law Enforcement will be avoiding them at all costs unless another person that should have never even had access to them uses them for exactly what they are designed for … mass casualty or Military Use.

If one takes the time to research where the least mass casualties t***spire it is where weaponry of this sort is not available to anyone unless in an Official Capacity. Getting this fact through bad peoples head is impossible though.

I will never understand why these military platform type weapons are available to the general public. They should be limited to the Military and Law Enforcement…that’s it!

I have heard the argument that if automatic weapons are banned people will still k**l others. It’s true but they wouldn’t be ab.to k**l so many so fast. If someone were using a gun that doesn’t have 40 or 50 rounds maybe police would be able to stop them, unless they were in Uvalde, TX

Unfortunately…very true. It is always about the bottom line and tax revenues.

I agree to some extent OJ. The problem is they define automatic weapons as the 22 long rifle my Grampa gave me when I was young. It’s capable of holding more than ten rounds in the magazine so it’s not just the military style weapons defined as “assault weapons”. I have two ARs and I didn’t buy them to shoot people. They’re competition toys. Not EVERYONE buys one to shoot up schools.

I've got an older 22 Marlin also.. holds 18rds and semi-auto.. had it since I was a kid when my parents got it for me for Christmas... Recently purchased a cute little carbine that is semi-auto (not an AR-15 platform) but it's all black... I guess being black makes it an assault rifle in most people's eyes.......

True. How many decades have people been blaming guns for mass attacks and nothing has gotten any better? Several. One simple, human made, explosive device will do one heck of a lot more damage and k**l way more people at once than any gun with a magazine holding more than ten rounds. Guns have never been and will never be what k**ls anything. As long as they keep threatening the wrong thing the activity will continue. My 6 year old grandson knows that much.

that is sort of a mute issue since alot of bad guys already out gun law enforcement since the push the last couple years was to "de-militarize" the police but when gangs, m*****as, and cartels already can get fully automatic guns that are actual military grade weapons of war and not the talking point ones that really aren't the same guns as the military uses then it shows laws really don't matter to the lawless since fully automatic have been illegal for the general public to buy or own for years now. Why would someone want a gun like this? a couple reasons 1. they enjoy recreational shooting and these are fun to shoot. 2. and yes sometimes they are used for hunting small game (since they are not legally considered lethal enough for larger game in the .223 versions however maybe this gun will be approved for deer with it's .277) 3. some want the security of having a gun like this that they can use to defend themselves and their family with if needed and 4. it is a constitutional right to have and bare arms for wh**ever lawful purpose or reason you have. But to get back to your original questions what does law enforcement do??? not much unless we throw out all those officials that are hamstringing our police force and not backing them in their fight against the bad guys by not only giving them funding and tools they need but also prosecuting those that violate the law for all crimes instead of vilifying the police and letting those who are violent offenders off with little or no punishment and back on the streets to do bigger and worse crimes, which is one of the reasons law abiding citizens are increasingly feeling the need for weapons like this for their own defense.

What!? We won't be able to use clubs and sling shots anymore. How about spears?
