Might be in the same family we catch them the surf on plastic Berkly and sand crabs you get from the surf, the sand crabs don't really look like crabs they bury in the sand easy to catch , when the tide comes in with the wave and goes out you put hands in the sand and when the tide pulls a way you will have them in your hand βοΈ some guys make screen frames and catch them.
You may have them on you coast line?
Have a great week π

You as well Andy, our dove season opens on September 1 as well, isnβt what it used to be though. At one time we could easily take our limit of 12 but that hasnβt happened for 30 years or so. Most of the farmlands around here have become warehouses due to the proximity of highways.

That is a shame π π
We use to go ever year to Yuma, Arizona for three days and that has even changed went 3years ago with the boys and Grandsons and even Yuma had changed all are hunting fields were gone and there seemed to be more hunters than use Tobe π’ but alot of the fields were gone and the Air Force base bought Government bought 15bocks of land that we use to hunt and it was posted. !!
Where I live here in the Central valley lot of the land is posted not as easy as it use Tobe to get permission any more and you can't blame them.
If you go good luck been Dove hunting scene I was 12 with my Dad and Grand Father
