I'm pretty sure it's a inline spinner for bass but not sure.

In my neck of the woods we use them for trout and maybe some bream. And yes it’s a in line spinner.

Thanks! Now that you say that I have seen them used for trout quite a bit!

That is a 1/8 oz Mepps Aglia in the Gold/Red-White pattern. It is a small in-line spinner.

Appreciate it! Was going through a tacklebox of my grandpas that I was given and found that!

Agh, a Mepps Spinner bait, I first used them fishing for Northern Pike in a 15’ across and 2’ deep farm creek on Dewitt Rd. in St. Johns, Michigan as a fourteen year old boy and a friend. The two of us would reel in at least six to eight 24” to 36” Norther Pike any given weekend day then use the same yet smaller Mepps spinner at the farmer’s private trout fed pond where early in the morning just before daylight we would catch 4 or 5 rainbow trout for breakfast cooking them on a hot fire next to the stream we camped by and caught the Northern Pike at the day before, what a weekend fishing trip we used to have, those were the good old days,
I’m now 66 and can still remember those great fishing weekends two days and then my Dad would pick us up at the bridge. Woohoo, what a time.🙂

A good Mepps spinner made here in Antigo Wisconsin. I caught bass, walleye, trout northern pike, musky, perch, and still use them in various sizes.

I have used them in Alaska for grayling and trout. In my experience it was the absolutely best for those. I'd never leave the house without one in "0" and "1" size.

It's definitely an Agela. It's a multi-purpose in line spinner tht can be used for nearly any freshwayer fish. I use them for Walleye, pike and bass.
