I have lived in Las Vegas back in the 60's.
I have have worked and played (vacation) there many times over the years.
Not sure if this just Morbidly Interesting, Shocking, or just Sad.

I found this down a YouTube rabbit hole.
It is 18 minutes long but the time line is divided into many sections and you can move through it fairly quickly.

That makes you sick to see Lake Mead all dried up like this, mother nature and over use by man has just about killed it.

That is a cool, but sad video, BD.
I visited Las Vegas and Hoover Dam with my parents and siblings about sixty years ago (I was 8 then) and brought back a souvenir from the rock hillside, next to the dam. Still don’t know how I ever convinced Dad to pull the car over and let me
“steal” a rock! I’m sure there must have been signs prohibiting such behavior, but oh well. Here’s the rock I stole. I’ve used it as a paper weight on my desk all these years, so it’s not as pink as it once was.

It really is so sad! And it’s not the only lake suffering like that. Pray the good lord will provide the much needed moisture.
