A few of you folk have PM me checking my status.
Appreciate that.
I’m still kicking. Back on the road. Working for the man.
Feels great to work for folk who genuinely respect you.
It’s not “ Ben go do this” and breathe down my neck. Also great to go to work and not be a party to violation of federal laws!!
They just tell me what’s comming up and leave me alone, trusting that my part will be done and done right.
Hot as hades in the plant!
Try to limit my time on the clock, but occasional 12 hour days happen.
Once my day started at 5:00AM and I walked out just before midnight.
For an “ advisor” I sure am working my butt off.
But payday makes the wife happy
Also sold another commissioned painting to a happy customer
I get off work and paint in the hotel room. Started another. It is attached.

I drove home yesterday afternoon , went straight to the range . Blew out the 10 ring with 2 of my pistols. Went to the bar for a couple.
Laid down to rest my eyes at 6:00 and woke up on the couch at 12:30. Dog laying beside me.

Tired.

Son and grandson comming down Sunday for a day on the water
Hopefully I’ll have some lies to tell about the fish we caught

Tite lines my friends

Forgot to attach. Elephant is roughed in.
Lots of work left to go before completion.
Gotta take everything that don’t look like an elephant and make it look like an elephant
Then gotta paint the sides of the frames.
These 5 panels will be hung half an inch apart so sides are important too

No rest for the weary BB. One day on the water at least. Fishing lies are mandatory. Nice to hear you have a job that keeps the crap to a minimum. Stay in touch.

Know a guy who grew up in Africa and my spiritual advisor who was a missionary in Africa.
They both said most sunsets there look exactly like the background. Starting about 6:30 in the evening

It's not Africa Ben but not a bad look in the morning from my kitchen window or driveway on the edge of the Smokies.

I guess I musta lived in a different stretch of Africa. Never saw anything like that. Come to think of it, I never saw a elephant either. Maybe they're like armadillos?
