Arjeje Loc: Cherokee Lake, Morristown, Tennessee

I’m using a kayak, and the Panther Creek boat ramp is the closest one to me. After spending 10 days paddling up and down in the area near the boat ramp I can’t seem to find any fish. I’ve tried topwater, I’ve tried jigging, I’ve tried Texas rig worms, I’ve tried crappie jigs, rapalas, crank baits, Hula poppers, buzz baits, ugh! I haven’t tried pig and jig yet, nor worms or live bait. I’m beginning to think that this particular area is just not conducive for fish. I think I need to get a boat so I can get out in the channel and go for some stripers and walleye, and sauger, and saugeye. But, before I can get a boat, I need to save money. In the meantime, does anyone have any recommendations for where I can put in with a kayak and paddle to the fish?
