That is good advise, but I am finding more and more, that the bait fish are being chased up by dog fish.

Forget trolling salmon when dogfish are around. If they don't snatch your anchovie it will scratch it leaving it useless as a good bait.

Was just now talking to my buddy on the Mooch Better out of HMB. He was fishing just outside the harbor, had 4 in the box and had to hang up cause they had a huge fish hangin--he said it has to go # 30. The school in Bodega went through there sometime ago and said its a wide open bit in Bodega right now.

Thanks for the update, got info on Bodega from local bait shop, lots of boats out this morning, including mine, then we had a leprochon moment, the motor died about 30 ft from dock, backup failed too, gods not wanting this guy to go salmon fishing today, maybe next month after motors are tuned.

Huntrr, so glad to hear someone besides me uses hoochies n flashers, glad you did well and thanks for the information. Lots of boats out today and the best water conditions for Bodega in a long time, too bad we had to come home with motor acting up.
