If it's like the rest of the south, the water is hot 80°- 90°. Night time or early morning and late evening are best unless you are flipping grass, or on a frog/toad bite or fishing ledges.

You'll need a few things for night fishing. A good head lamp, a night fishing light like the one Bass Pro Shop tri-color white light,gree, neon. Rapalas lighted marker bouys. These I use to mark where I catch fish.
