Went carping this morning on a part of the river we've never been to,not a bite one,did get some pics of stuff around,I constantly look for stuff along the shore and banks..today's score, vacuum tube, flat stones for skimming, old jug handle, part of the jug,old clock plate, bud vase top, rubber bait.

We packed up and headed up river to see what was up there, headed back down river and the bottom came up to quick, prop started hitting stones and Mike killed it,could not get it started again,so we just went with the flow it would have been a slow drift back to the launch if these guys didn't just happen by.

https://youtu.be/5biyU02Caec

When I got home I opened the back door and see the cat next door fly by,right on her tail was a beautiful gray fox,
it stopped dead in t's tracks and I softly talked to it,it was very curious indeed, one day it will get that cat,out in day light hunting it is feeding kits.

The reason I wear my camera as uniform of the day,I'm ALWAYS ready.

GOD Bless America ONCE again

Chris

Those are really beautiful pics, even of the " finds" that you got. Thanks.
Sorry to hear of the damage to your prop.
I did that once goin back down the Upper Sacramento river. Thank goodness we were UP river from the launch when we did it otherwise we wouldn't have made it back to the launch.

Nice pics and a good story. The motor trouble sucks but it looks like you had some good help and it added to the adventures

Awesome pictures Chris. Sorry about the motor problems but the tow sure came in handy. Sounds like it's time for kitty to stay in the house. Thanks for sharing. What dam is that?
