Good catch how did you get them. On Seminole there is a strong frog bite as well as a ledge bite and flipping bite

Segundo, we got them on Yum dingers and top water... Fred, the water temps are running around 87, we've had 100 degree days all week before today and they were giving 96 for a high today... It's been miserable hot here....

Glad to see you are still getting bit in that water temperature. Others are not doing as well.

Be careful in that heat, and stay hydrated.

Your absolutely right about staying hydrated, I pre fished yesterday till about 11:30 and drank water and Gatorade all morning, and still got up twice during the night to get some water, I was so dried out I couldn't sleep... I know better, I should have loaded up on the water the day before....

Yeah Doc, it's scary. If you suddenly stop sweating get out of the sun immediately, and drink a lot of water. Heat stroke can really mess you up. Looking forward to more Smalljaw pictures from Tim's .

Heat stroke is a dangerous life threatening situation. First hydrate before going to fish, good ole fashioned water, gator aide or power aide. Always have ice in the cooler. Stay away from alcoholic beverages and soda pop as they are diuretics. I've found that the cool Bandas or cool ties help a lot pre soak in a pan of cold water and use as you fish . Family dollar sells a dual fan that fits around a neck. This will keep gnats mosquitos out of your face and help keep you cool.
