So, a few months ago, I bought a new 16 foot aluminum fishing boat. It has a dual console so there is windshield coverage for my wife for a change. It has front and rear casting platforms and some issues I have to deal with due to poor engineering design, but all thats another story.

Boat has a nice 90HP Merc 4 stroke on it. Love that it has a 4 stroke as my old bass boat had a 2 stroke and caused me some problems. The boat also came with a Minn Kota Power Drive trolling motor. The model is 1358737. It is a 12V with a 54" shaft and 50 plus pounds of thrust. (It does not have B.T. but it can be added per my understanding).

It also comes with a foot pedal control and quick release mounting bracket. I'm selling it because I bought a Minn Kota Ulterra 24V to get installed on this new boat. I really don't need 24V power on an aluminum boat of this size, but to get the features of the Ulterra, you got to go with 24V or 36V. If you don't know already, it can deploy itself and retract as well and it has (Spot Lock) too.
I'm getting too old to wrestle with deploying the trolling motor multiple times per day and i can't wait to utilize spot lock. By the way, I also ordered up a Talon Shallow water anchor and also the quick release boat trailer deal as well.

Bass Pro has the above trolling motor on line for $699.99 then you have to add taxes. You would likely spend over $750 to get one. I'm looking for a quick sale of mine (used one week only)and my price is $575. Shipping charges would be added.

Sounds like a nice set up. Check into charging system if paying someone to mount the new one. It just takes diodes to charge the 24 or 36v system with the 12v Outboard. Many recharge with shore power but anyone that added the charging system to Outboard for trolling batteries love them.

I will look into that. Kinda odd, but even though the boat came with just a 12v trolling motor, the on board charger in it is ( 3 Banks). So it has leads for the main motor and also two trolling motors.

The boat is stowed away right now in garage. Trying to line up a local Marina to install the stuff I mentioned. Did have it at one place a few weeks back for over two weeks and they were so backed up they couldn't get to it. I had to take it out of there so we couid use the boat on our one week trip to the lake.

As to a picture of the motor, i listed the Model number of the boat in the ad. All ya gotta do to see what exactly it looks like is google that Minn Kota model and bingo............there is your picture of it.

I appreciate your attempt to help. But your bringing up a scenario that drives me crazy. Everybody wants to see a picture............I'm old school from way back where you looked at ads in the Wanted column and the item was described and if you were interested, you went to look at it.

Now days, you could advertise a claw hammer for sale...........Some jerk would want to see a picture of it.

As I said, it's a brand new trolling motor and if one is interested and knows anything at all about such things, they can easily google the Minn Kota site and see exactly what that model looks like and all the info about it.
