One cousin asked me how to catch catfish?
Me: Cast net some shad and cut them into a 5 gal.bucket and put pieces on a J hook or large circle hook and use small carp and bluegills will work for you.
Jesus offends them too, the greatest fisherman of men.
When I was little grandpa had us hang onto the 2 1/2 ton farm truck's mirror with a 410 shotgun at midnight and shoot jack rabbits for trotline bait. All I know is it worked, he cut it up and the bloody stuff caught fish. Young folk's don't understand country farm life, no bait store's for 40 miles. Fishing wasn't just for fun, it was food from his own pond's.
Something PETA don't understand unless it's artificial bait it's a bloody affair for the minnows or the rabbits my grandpa had to use the Lord knows you don't want to talk about it with City slickers I just don't get it that steak does not just crawl out of the freezer onto your plate so I had to kill a cow Amen?
Absolutely! I agree. You never want to make any farm animal a pet and name it, because it will be awfully hard to swallow when it appears on your dinner plate. Just Sayin....RJS

So very true. Some People think microwave popcorn comes from the store and wouldn’t have a clue how survive otherwise. Got news for em. Popcorn came from a farmer. Not the grocery store.

So true Passin. They sit there n eat lamb chops n veal. BBQ ribs n hot wings. That's ok the animals gladly gave there lives so people could stuff their gut. Clean hands clean conscious to them. Yrs ago when the farmers was doing some protesting some old city gals stopped at our farm market to buy fresh eggs. Hear one of them say let the farmers go on strike who cares. We get our stuff at the grocery store. All this while standing on a farmers market 🤬

Dumb gal's too stupid to know you only get farm eggs from a free-range farmer, not the mass produced corporate hen farm's, same for beef or hogs from private stock producers. Same for us fishermen, no store sells better than what we catch.

That’s definitely true about everything PLUS fish. I’ve NEVER bought a fish out of a store and never will. Same with beef, pork and chicken. Always raised my own and have since I was a little kid on the ranch. I don’t think I could handle putting any of that in my mouth if I had to buy it from a store. I’d be a vegetarian and just eat what I’ve grown in my garden or pick in the wild.

yep but not so easy to do if you happen to be one of the millions who live, and work in the large population areas. just be thankful you live out in the country and they live in densely population ares so you have the country side to move to
