A friend of mine caught and released a 51” musky on the Detroit River yesterday. He was trolling for walleye with a bandit, no leader. 1 year ago he didn’t even fish, but he bought a boat and fishes all the time now! Talk about beginners luck…!!! Thought you all might like to see it.

Very nice muskie! Right place and the right time...combined with skill and perhaps a pinch of good luck! Definitely a great sized muskie to start a fishing hobby!
