Hi ! My name is Ron S. I am relatively new (2 1/2 yrs)to this area. (Myrtle Beach , SC)I love to fish for LM Bass . I am from Illinois and Pennsylvania where I fished in lakes with my 16 1/2 ft aluminum, center console, 25 hp bass boat. I’m not that familiar with river fishing and I tried lake Moultrie last week (got skunked) and I just don’t know where to start. I love top water , biz bates and spinner bates. I need help finding places and fishing techniques that can get me started catching fish . Someone “PLEASE” help me get back into the sport I love. I’m retired now and NEED to be productive in this new part of the Country. Everyone claims SC is a great State for Bass fishing. “Help a new guy to find his way in this new area !“ 🙏🎣 Thanks

Thank you ! I have a lot to learn in this area. This is hard relocating and starting from scratch in new waters.

There are some nice lakes that are not as big as Moultrie. Marion is a better bass lake but there are some lakes all around where you are. Look up lakes on SC wildlife and game management.

I find the best way to find ponds/lakes around me is to go on google maps and zero in on my location and look for them.
