We're looking to go to Quemado Lake in the next week or two and was wondering how the fishing is and how so water level is

I’ve been there several times but not this year. Have you been there before?

My favorite place for trout. Went there at this time last year. Water was low. Lots of bank fisherman using powerbait during the day doing ok for stockers and the occasional 16 inch. We did fine with worms under a bobber but I’ve done better in the past doing other things. Do you use a boat?

We have a raft with a trolling motor but I just called the ranger station and she said the water was really low and it hadn't been stocked since May

Not good but I ll bet you could do something with that raft and motor. Try slow trolling pistol Pete spinner flies early. Where are you gonna camp?

If you go… that is. Unfortunately not a lot of other lake options for trout

Sounds good. I have parked my 21 footer at the full hookup sites but it tends to get crowded there… the Caso camping areas about a mile past the lake have water and restrooms but no electricity… lots of room but might need a generator. Good luck!
