Welcome to the stage Mike Sorry I can't help you others may be along. If not you may have to start another thread with your location in the title. You might call local bait shops. Google and YouTube are also great resources good luck with your fishing share pics when you can👍

CDA lake was always great as well as Ponderay. Moved from there 10 years ago but I would bet it is still great fishing.

Trout type species are usually the main draw. Rocky areas for smallies. Annnd I heard they have Muskie I’ve been researching that for a while. Maybe chain pickerel. I’ve been catching a lot of smallies lately. Found a slough here on the snake (blackfoot idaho) and caught about a5 lb bucket mouth on a buzz.

Mike, I mostly flyfish and have found the St. Joe, and St. Maries rivers to be very good for Cutthroat. If you
don't mind a small drive, go down out of Lewiston and fish the Clearewater drainage and the Lochsa waters. Both have good runs of good sized Rainbows and Cutthroat.

Best of luck.
