No idea where you are talking about. Folks on here are nationwide and some worldwide.
brigantine and Absecon Are in New Jersey by Atlantic City.
I used to fish that area 50 years ago and caught from herring to sharks and most anything in between
Too far south for me Lou, Maybe someone else will chime in.
More than likely summer flounder, which is called fluke some miles up the GSP are running as should be small stripers in the back bays. Lots of blue claw crabs now starting to appear. Get a free salt water registry card from NJ Fish and Game online. Clamming license is $10 annually or if you are 62 it is a one time fee of $2, the only bargain in Jersey.
I'm from Southern New Jersey I fish alot near Atlantic city and cape may mostly inland we have a 17' Grady white center console we have gone afew miles offshore but I limit how far we go by how long it takes to brakecamp and haulass
Gotcha I'm a native to the area been fishing from long Island to Baltimore canyon many years offshore as a mate on 48 " ocean we have a 17ft center console now so we basically fish the bays my son just bought the boat so we've been getting it ready last couple weeks haven't been out yet I was just wondering how things were going
Glad to meet you sir I was in air force I early 70s we run the coast inland mostly I miss having a bigger boat to run the canyons the water out there it's a completely different world out there 100 miles
