G-mornin knuckleheads. 72 now. 87 and scattered storms this afternoon. Standard summer forecast. Goin' fishin' in about an hour and a half. Gotta try a different jig or two to try attract something.

God was having a conversation with Adam. "How's it going? God asked. Not bad, said Adam but I'm a little lonely. I understand, God said. I can create for you a beautiful, loving, supportive partner who will never nag you or tell you what to do. But, it will cost you and arm and leg. Adam thought for a minute and said, okay." But he really wanted to keep his leg.

"What can I get for a rib?" Adam asked. And the rest is history.

Have a good Sunday angling humanoids and assorted ding dongs.

Mornin Greg,
Have you tried a Biffle Bug (or the like) or a Texas rigged lizard? Fish them painfully slow…
It may even be time for frogs on top of the weeds!
Good luck when you get out there!

I bought a frog top water. Only used it once. Casting it into the shallows and near limbs and weeds. Haven't done the lizard. I've got a couple other options. Shore fishing here produces minimal results at best. I haven't given up but probably need to save for a boat someday.

Even a simple rowboat with a trolling motor will provide thousands of options and opportunities. Good luck!
Fish the frog slowly, too. If you have ever seen a real one move from point A to point B, it is with extreme caution and seemingly well though out. They crawl across lily pads and the like. They swim short distances in open water, then freeze like a statue for 10 seconds…hoping not to be noticed. The hits are usually explosive!

Still waiting on one of those "explosions."

Good morning Greg and everyone. 67° and cloudy here, clearing out and going up to mid 80°s later. You're on the water already G, but good luck anyway! Yep even a rowboat or pond boat opens up a world of new possibilities.
Good luck to you as well Mark, and the grandson.
Have a great Sunday everybody, and be safe out there.

Good morning everyone. 73* right now and going up to 88. Had some heavy showers last night. Won't have to water anything today. Dry rubbing a couple slabs of ribs to go in the smoker tomorrow. Have a great and safe day.

Good morning boys and girls.

Thanks Adam, i wonder if you had chose the arm and leg option if the never nag part would have really been true.

Pitched another shutout. Not a bite. If I was a relief pitcher in the MLs and pitched this many shutouts, I'd be a multi-millionaire wanted by every team. Lol.
