I’m just getting back into fishing and I don’t own a boat. I’m looking for good Spots in the Triangle to drop a line in the water and work on my skills.

Don’t forget lake wheeler, Johnson pond, Harris and Jordan. Bond park in Cary has some nice fish too. Good luck

Lake Raleigh on NC State’s Centennial Campus. I believe NC Wildlife installed a public pier with a boat ramp. You can also walk the bank and fish from the shoreline.
