We were up there early May and it was really good. Since it is July and warmer I wasn’t sure if it slows them down. Do you know the stalking schedule for the lake. I went to the game and fish stocking schedule online and Big Lake is not on it.

Fish deep directly across from the gas pumps near the store in about 20' of water, just off the underwater weed beds. I believe chumming with corn is still legal if you're a bait guy.

I fished Big Lake for many years before moving to OK. As I recall, many trout in Big Lake were holdovers, hence the pink color. They may be finished stocking until cooler weather. Cast Z-rays or troll Ford Fenders over the weed beds. Drown worms by the dam.

Was there Thursday. Agree. Fishing was good, the catching not so good. A lot of moss and algae bloom
