Enjoyable Night

As I began dewatering my boat tonight, the wind died, and the sun was shining, time to fish. So I called my neighbor, a former city dweller who I've been schooling for a couple of years. Ten minutes later we on the water. Cruised to a favorite weed bed, and bam, his 1st cast, a nice lm. Later on he picked up a 3 pounder. Both on a shad swim bait, and a rod & reel I had passed on to him when I upgraded. He also landed a fat, 19 " slime dog. I picked up a few fish also.
On this night, the student schooled the teacher. But it was so enjoyable watching him have so much fun

It's frustrating sometimes, but in the long run it's worth it. This guy does a lot for me during the time I'm not at the cabin, so, seeing him learn, and having so much fun is worth it.
