I will be visiting Lexington Michigan end of July. Any suggestions for fishing from shore Lake Huron?

There is a pier in Lexington, I believe you can fish of this pier. Also another pier to the north about 10-12 miles, in the town of Port Saniliac. Drive to the south about 15 miles, into Port Huron, there is a state park. Also that’s where Lake Horon flows into the St Clair river. I’ve seen people fishing the river from shore. Have Fun, you will love the Thumb Atea of Michigan along with the sunrise side of the state.

Thanks my wife is from Port Huron. I used to windsurf across to Sarnia and occasionally under the Blue Water bridge when I was younger. Will be visiting and staying in Lexington for a few days at the end of the month so will take my light weight travel rod and see if I can get any action.
