East of weed ca up in the mountains. You can google map it and drive right to the lake. Real nice place. There is a campground there and day use facilities, and a fish cleaning station.

I and the Mrs spent the night in Weed Ca on our way back from Crater Lake the view we had from our Hotel window was looking at Mt Shasta very nice 👍

It’s worth the drive, there’s a nice trail that follows the lake. Go left and about 200 feet past handi Capp fishing area is good just about anywhere in that area. Gets deep n my better catches were out 30-40 feet . Early morning was good with lures too. Good luck
