I just learned this only this morning:
The Attorney General of California, Democrat Rob Bonta, has committed an ENORMOUS breach of trust! He's leaked all the personal information of just about everyone in California who has a concealed carry permit!
Full name
Race
HOME ADDRESS
Date of birth
Date the permit was issued
There are also several social media posts that indicate similar identifying information from the state’s dealer record of sales database and its “assault weapons” registry were part of the leak, though to my knowledge, that's not yet confirmed.
How do you play nice and obey the law when they're going to pull something like this?
So, salutations to all you folks who have the good sense not to live in California!

I saw that. I bet there will be no punishment for leaking the information. and they wonder why people don't trust them.
You have to wonder Barnacles if it was totally intentional. Gotta love those politicians
I thought you couldn't have concealed in Ca?
Public Records are all over the internet already.

It's county by county. It's up to the Sherriff. However, things might change now. Hopefully All countys will have to allow people to get a CCW if they can pass all requirements. 👍
Our illustrious governor will just make new requirements that are even harder to pass.

Once I get moved up to Tahoe I'm gonna look into gettin a CCW permit anyway.
However, might not get one till I move to the Brentwood area next year.

My wife and I we’re going to visit California last fall. I always carry when we are traveling. I checked on the laws in California regarding carrying from out of state and I might be wrong but I would have to had my gun in a locked box in our camper, not in our vehicle, and the ammunition would have to be in another location. California is a beautiful state. I’ve traveled through a couple of times quite a few years ago. We decided to not travel there last fall. We still want to go because there is so much to see so I’m going to have to abide by their laws when we go.😎👍

Thanks Barn. Just one of the many reasons I moved to Idaho.

There’s lots of other states prettier that don’t have all those ridiculous laws. Oregon has the same laws no matter what anyone tells you. I lived there for over 25 years. I know.

You don’t need one anywhere Steve. Just carry it out in the open. When you get a permit it’s the same as registering your guns. The people that want to control you are just looking to obtain more information on you and that’s how they get it. Why would you want to carry a hidden gun anyway? Just curious. I carry mine right out where God and everybody can see it and I never have any trouble. Of course I don’t live in California but you know how it is here. People don’t mess with anybody. And why? Because we open carry and not afraid to use them and everybody knows it.

Can't say much for the huntin opportunities here in California BUT depending where you live, the fishing opportunities are unparalleled. From Windsor, within 2 hours drive I can fish for just about ANY fish species the western states have to offer. Most are less tha than an hour.🤠👍
