Using nano fill on bait caster?? Like it on spin caster. Never tried on bait caster.have a lite rod and reel that only holds 30 to 40 yards of line, can to end of line. Tried light braid did not work well

I don't see why not Jc. Its very slick stuff, and should work well on a light setup. I've used it on spinning reels for years.
That must be a tiny reel. Good luck, and let us know how it works out.

Never tried it on a baitcasting setup but like it a lot on my spinning reels.

Jc,
I'm sorry but I have no experience with Nanofil on baitcasters. Like Fred and bk I do use it on spinning reels, especially for finesse and light weight lures.

My guess is it would be very likely to bury itself towards the spool spindle, then the dreaded birdsnest would quickly follow. I thought I could avoid braid trouble on baitcast gear by just using the rod to retrieve the fish, but, it dug in anyhow. I know a baitcast reel is not a winch, but things happen. Went back to mono.
