We left EI on June 15 and fishing wasn’t too good..some small blues, Spanish, mullet, small black tip sharks…also picked up some flounder…shorts and out of season…was using shrimp, finger mullet on mullet rig and fish bites..sand fleas were scarce earlier in the month but seemed to be coming on…we were staying at HTP and the beach there had a slow taper so water level was on the low side for a fair bit..fishing may have improved since we left…fish early as the swimmers will crowd you out !!

We were their for a month and the surf fishing was not so good…had sea weed and a lot of rough surf…we typically spend a month there in the spring and another month in the fall…usually pretty decent. Not this year!!
