Bed is done. Been longer than I planned but I also changed the plans so thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it. I'm glad I added the log rail and pickets to the head and foot boards,makes it look a bit more finished and I'm real pleased with the final results.

It’s not easy building a bed, but the added difficulty of working with wood “in the round” compounds the task.
Just the peeling, sorting and sanding takes enormous amounts of time.
As one who has done what you’ve done, I congratulate you on a job well done!
