Goes along with the one that says they already debit my account and to please call to verify they have the right account #.
Yep a scam for sure.
I get that one on a regular basis, twice a month, for sure. The hilarious part is that I don't even own a computer or any device that would/could use McAfee, and yet they are dead certain that I had it previously and need to renew NOW !
This one and the ones that tell me I have won a DeWalt drill or a Craftsman lawnmower from Home Depot or Lowe's, just for filling out a survey.........riiiiiight..... I'll get on that immediately......not !
I hope there's a special place in hell for all those scammers.
I get one stating that I have all these unused travel credits and they would hate to see me lose them. I have been telling them to please stop calling as I am not interested. This has been going on for about 5 years and I get calls almost daily.
Last week I won a new kitchen, complete set shop tools, John Deere mower and 500$ gas card. Yaaa right.

It's my understanding, scam is seeking info / $. Malware implants a virus.
