The streams and rivers are fishin nicely up towards Tahoe.

I would even try as low as where the 4 lane ends. Lots of area around there to park and walk along.
I haven't fished there in YEARS but use to do pretty well all along the river goin up to Tahoe.

Yeah. That's a good area to walk along the river and fish the pools. I personally like to drift night crawlers.

Thanks Steve, always blew right through there on the way to Union Valley Res. Camped at union a lot when our kids were growing up. Would stop for coffee at bridal veil falls heading west, pretty park.

Yes it is. We have been makin that drive for nearly 50 years. Between the SF bay Area and Tahoe. Hard to believe.
