That ain’t good when your fish are half cooked when you catch em. It was 97 degrees at Cascade lake today. I caught 11 perch and only two over 14 inches so I came home early. I think summer has arrived🥵

It was odd to hold the fish when they were warm like that, and that’s way to hot,97 degrees,I’m heading for the shade

Well, you know that is surface water temp. The fish I caught were 20+ feet deep. It ain't that warm down there.

I'm sure they are as deep as they can get there. I'm not sure just how deep those ponds are.

Nice bass Rhyno, sorry that work is slow but good to see you always have an alternative plan. One that doesn’t necessarily increase the wallet but sure works wonders for the soul.

So unfortunately work is still very slow, so I headed out to River Front Park this morning, The bite was rather slow, when I did land my first bass, once I got it in my hands it was warm to the touch, really warm, I thought it was odd and there was a Guy fishing in a kayak about 20 feet from me so I asked if he had a fishfinder, he did so I asked him what the temperature was and the water temp was 70°, the bite was decent until about 10 o’clock and then it just slow down to almost nothing, basically after 10 o’clock I got nothing but bluegill bites for about two hours, I realize nothing was gonna happen so I wrapped up and left around 1 o’clock, hope everybody has a great day 🎣
